Wolfgang Mackiewicz hands over Final Report of High Level Group on Multilingualism
Later that day, Wolfgang Mackiewicz, rapporteur of the Group, presented the main ideas and recommendations put forward in the Report at a press conference given by Mr Orban, Member of the European Commission responsible for Multilingualism.

The High Level Group on Multilingualism was set up by the Commission in September 2006. It was chaired by Commissioners Ján Figel’ and Leonard Orban (from January 2007 on). The Report is available for download at http://ec.europa.eu/education/policies/lang/doc/multireport_en.pdf
