The theme of the Forum “Enhancing Translation Quality: Ways, Means, Methods” was addressed by more than 400 participants from around the globe in a total of seven sessions, devoted to the issue of quality in relation to the entire chain of language mediation, ranging from training programmes to service and customer perceptions. At the invitation of the CIUTI President, Hannelore Lee-Jahnke (Université de Genève), CEL/ELC President Wolfgang Mackiewicz spoke at the opening ceremony.
