| Call for Expressions of Interest from new ELC Special Interest Group (SIG) on Community T&I and the role of higher education |

The Board of the CEL/ELC has decided to convene a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) designed to address new issues and challenges in the area of languages arising from changes in European higher education and in non-academic environments. The SIGs will be open to specialists from CEL/ELC member institutions and organisations as well as representatives of other pertinent organisations and to individual specialists. One of the SIGs will focus on Community translation and interpreting and the role of higher education; it will be chaired by Maurizio Viezzi of SSLMIT - Università di Trieste, who represents CIUTI on the CEL/ELC Board.
